'Jawan' star Nayanthara's new film 'Annapoorani' lands in trouble, complained file for hurting religious sentiments

Nayanthara’s 75th film Annapoorani has landed in trouble. The movie, directed by Nilesh Krishnaa, also stars Jai and Sathyarahy in lead roles. The film was released in theatres on December 1. The movie failed to impress audiences at the theatres and collected just Rs 5 crore at the box office. Annapoorani can be watched on Netflix.

In the latest development, former Shiv Sena leader Ramesh Solanki has filed a complaint against the makers of the film. Solanki has alleged that the film “hurts the Hindu sentiment.”

He has also shared a copy of the complaint on X (formerly Twitter).
