Actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif clearly had the most dreamy wedding. After being secretive about their relationship to tying the knot in a traditional manner, the two have been fielding major couple goals since then. While Katrina Kaif is known for being an introvert, Vicky Kaushal has time and again opened up about their married life, sharing interesting deets about their relationship and marriage. This time too, the actor shared an interesting incident, that took place right before his marriage, revealing how he was threatened by Katrina of cancelling their wedding. Vicky Kaushal who is presently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Sam Bahadur recently got into a conversation with Pinkvilla and spoke about his marriage to Katrina Kaif.
When Katrina threatened to call off wedding with Vicky Kaushal
Noting that the shooting of his film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ clashed with his wedding plans, the actor disclosed that he initially planned to take some time off for his marriage as he faced immense pressure from the makers to return to the set shortly after the wedding. However, as he shared his plans with Katrina, she was not very happy and gave him a “dhamki” and told him to “forget the wedding.”
“I had done half of the film’s shooting before my marriage and then I took off for my marriage. Right after the marriage, within two days, they were calling me on the set. It was then that I got the threat that if you have to go to the set in two days then don’t get married,” Vicky said further adding that he refused the makers and returned to the sets after five days.
Apart from that, Vicky Kaushal also expressed his admiration toward his married life, stating that it gives a “peaceful feeling.” Vicky also praised his wife Katrina Kaif for being a great companion. The actor also revealed that spending time with his wife feels like “coming back home” and that they don’t talk much about films.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is presently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Sam Bahadur. The film will hit theatres on 1 December.
