Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who have been dating for seven years, are set to marry in Mumbai on June 23. The couple recently confirmed their wedding date after their wedding invite leaked online. The invitation, designed like a magazine cover, features a candid vacation photo of Zaheer kissing a smiling Sonakshi. Rumours had circulated that Sonakshi’s father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, might not attend the wedding. However, Shatrughan has dispelled these rumours, affirming his support for the couple. A video circulating online shows Zaheer and Shatrughan hugging and posing for the paparazzi, with Shatrughan even obliging the photographers’ request by saying his iconic line, “Khamosh!”

Ahead of the wedding, Sonakshi was spotted for the first time, quickly entering her apartment building without speaking to the paparazzi stationed outside.
In a recent report by Times Now, Shatrughan confirmed his presence at the wedding, stating, “I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I? Her happiness is my happiness and vice versa. She has every right to choose her partner and the other details of her wedding. I am extremely tied up with my political work in Delhi. The very fact that I have still been in Mumbai conveys that I am here not only as her pillar of strength but as her real kavach (armor) as well.”
Sonakshi Sinha Rubbishes Rumours About Live-In Relationship With Zaheer Iqbal
In a recent interview with Galatta India, Sonakshi Sinha addressed rumours about her living arrangements. Contrary to speculation, she clarified that she has not moved out of her father Shatrughan Sinha’s house to live with her soon-to-be husband, Zaheer Iqbal. During the candid conversation, when the host mentioned her living on her own, Sonakshi immediately interrupted and questioned, “Who told you that I’m staying on my own?” The host admitted, “I thought you were staying on your own,” to which Sonakshi humorously replied, “You thought. This is what happens when people think.” She then explained, “I still live with my parents. Yes, I bought a house that’s my chill pad. I use it for work meetings, shoots, and getting ready for events. But after all my work is done, I go back home and sleep.”
