One of the most adorable couples, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani indeed have the ‘filmiest’ love story. Starting with secretly dating each other to finally tying the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony, the two made fans realise what dreams are made of. While their on-screen chemistry is no doubt amazing, their off-relationship is also equally endearing.
At a time when the couple had always kept their relationship a secret until they got married, fans know very little about them. Spilling beans on the same, actress Kiara Advani during her recent appearance on Koffee with Karan Season 8 was seen sharing some intricate details of actor-husband Sidharth Malhotra‘s romantic proposal in Rome. Kiara was accompanied by Vicky Kaushal on KWK 8.
On being asked by the host Karan Johar about their proposal story, she began by revealing that it was during one of the first trips to Rome when Sidharth proposed to her.
Sidharth recited Shershaah dialogues to propose to Kiara
Kiara began by recalling she was very tired the day she landed as she joined Sidharth and his parents on the trip, while also mentioning that his niece was always around.
She further went on to add that the actor took them you are a Michelin star restaurant where he had planned out the perfect proposal for her. Recalling that there was a candlelight dinner on top, Kiara added that Sidharth later took her for a walk during which suddenly violinists came out of the bushes and started playing music while Sidharth’s little nephew was continuously taking pictures and videos of their special moment.
Kiara also shared how she was left speechless upon Sidharth’s proposal, to which he finally had to recite the lines of their 2021 film Shershaah (Dilli ka sidha sadha launda hu…), and the actress was left in splits.
A clip of Kiara’s speaking about the proposal moment has been going viral on social media, leaving fans go awe over it.
For the unversed, Sidharth and Kiara got married in February this year in an intimate ceremony in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace. It was followed by a grand reception in Delhi and Mumbai.
