Madhya Pradesh Election 2023: WATCH Khargone Congress candidate curries crowd favour for Palestine, Hamas

Congress is fighting the BJP in Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, but some of its candidates seem to be canvassing in Palestine.

In a video that has now gone viral on internet and social media, ostensibly the Congress candidate in Khargone can be seen and heard rallying a public gathering to vote for her party in the name of Palestine and Israel’s war on Hamas that has, unfortunately, claimed many civilian lives too. The crowd was also led to “pray for the martyrs of Palestine.”

Also, purportedly, the Congress candidate wants public mandate in Khargone to bring change in Israel-Palestine relations.

In the clip, shared by political analyst and strategist Pramod Kumar Singh, a Congress candidate from Khargone can be heard saying, “Palestine mein masoom baccho ki lashey lag chuki hai, kya yeh hum atyachar sahenge? Kya Khargaon badlav laega? (In Palestine, innocent children are being killed. Should we bear this torcher?)

The Congress leaders in Khargone, which has a favourable Muslim population, also held two-minute silence and said, “We are with Palestine.”
