Manipur Police Deploys Anti-drone System in Response to Recent Attacks, CM Biren Meets Governor

Imphal: In line with the new attack on civilians, the Manipur police has deployed anti-drone systems on Saturday. Talking to the media, Inspector general of police (Intelligence) K Kabib said a powerful anti-drone system has been deployed and police are contained within the strategy of buying additional weapons to counter the attacks on civilians.

“The state force is closely monitoring the positioning and senior officers have been deployed on the bottom. By reason of the new drone attacks, an anti-drone system has been deployed and the state police are contained within the strategy of buying additional anti-drone guns, so that you just will be deployed soon,” he said.

He added that army helicopters are conducting aerial patrols, and security personnel have been deployed in vulnerable areas.

He added, “The combing operations on all sides—hills and valley—have been intensified, specializing in areas from which long-range rockets and drones were fired. These operations will cover on the very least 3-5 km, concentrating on these areas.”
