Manipur Schools To Remain Closed On September 7 Following Bishnupur Bomb Attacks

Imphal: Schools may be closed in Manipur on Saturday, September 7. This changed into announced by the Manipur government on Friday resulting from unrest developing out of bomb attacks within the Bishnupur district.

All schools within the state will remain closed on September 7 for the safety of scholars and teachers, said a notification issued by the Directorate of Education (Schools).

“In view of unrest and the present situation within the state and keeping in mind the safety of scholars and teachers, all government and deepest schools, central schools will stay closed on September 7,” the notification said.
