He was born in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, on April 29, 1993, and relocated to Mumbai together with his family when he was just 5 years old. He began performing in plays and the theatre when a student at Mithibai College. The actor left his final CA examinations and started doing film auditions after taking first place in a familiar fresh face competition.
