We are talking about none in place of Namrata Shirodkar. Born in a Maharashtrian family of Goan origin, Namrata is the elder sister of actress Shilpa Shirodkar and the grand daughter of well known Marathi actress Meenakshi Shirodkar, who starred in Brahmachari. Namrata made her mark within the realm of modelling and became crowned Omit India in 1993. She represented India in Omit Universe pageant and competed in sixth place.

Namrata entered Bollywood in 1998 with the film Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai opposite Salman Khan and Twinkle Khanna. Well, she became going to make her debut as a lead heroine with Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty within the film Purab Ki Laila Aur Paschim Ki Chhaila. But, unfortunately, the film never released.

Within the same year, she became seen within the film Mere Do Anmol Ratna. While, the actress’s first film earned a good collection at the box place of job, the 2nd became a disaster. She became seen in different other films like Hero Hindustani, Kacche Dhaage, Aagaz, Astitva, Albela, Tera Mera Saath Rahe. Well, Namrata had delivered sixteen flop films in her career span of 6 years. She also tried her luck in South Cinema but didn't reach the recognition as well.

Talking about her personal life, Namrata met Telugu cinema’s superstar Mahesh Babu on the sets of film Vamsi. Their acquaintance on the sets gradually become the love affair, and the couple got married within the year 2005. They are parents of two youth.
