Guyana: It was a day to remember for the Indian cricket team as they hammered defending champions England by 68 runs on Thursday to seal a spot in the final. While there were celebrations all around, the iconic BTS Dressing Room medal for being the best fielder was also presented. India cricketer Dinesh Karthik, who is loved by one and all, gave away the prestigious medal to Rishabh Pant. Pant was agile and was sharp behind the stumps and that is the reason he picked up the award. This is his second best fielder medal in this T20 WC.

Pant had an off day with the bat as all he could score was four off six balls. Pant was dismissed trying to take on Sam Curran through the leg-side. At No. 3, Pant has played some crucial knocks in this tournament already.
Pant has been dynamic behind the stumps and experts believe that he has become better with the gloves since his return to cricket after the horrific car accident.
Batting first, India rode on knocks from Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav to post 171/7 in 20 overs. In reply, England succumbed to the spin-twins of Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel as the duo shared six wickets between them. In the end, England were all out for 103 in 16.4 overs.
