Panchayat 3 Actor Jitendra Kumar Says ‘It’s Unfair’ on Being Called Highest Paid Actor of The Show
Panchayat 3: Jitendra Kumar has reacted to the speculations that he received Rs 70,000 every episode, making him the highest paid actor among his co-stars this time around.
The long-lasting popularity of the program has been strengthened by the enthusiasm and favourable reviews surrounding the premiere of ‘Panchayat 3.’ Amidst all this excitement, speculation has it that Jitendra Kumar, who plays Abhishek Tripathi, is the highest-paid actor in the series, reportedly taking home Rs 70,000 every episode. In response to these rumours, Jitendra stated that it is unfair and counterproductive to discuss private financial problems.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, the actor voiced his dissatisfaction with the public’s fixation with actors’ salaries, without confirming the rumoured amounts. “Well, I think discussing somebody’s salary and financial matters is really unfair,” Jitendra said.
As per reports, Jitendra received Rs 5.6 lakh for participating in the third season of Panchayat. Neena Gupta, an actor, was said to be the next highest-paid performer, with an episode earning Rs 50,000. The actor added, “Nothing good comes out of the discussion, and it’s not even fruitful. So, I think one should avoid falling for any such rumours, they should not be a thing.”
Thinking back on his time with Panchayat 3, Jitendra was impressed by the third season’s screenplay and glad the writers refrained from attempting to make major changes. Rather, they concentrated on narrating fresh tales and showcasing captivating scenarios inside the show’s preexisting structure. Because the screenplay was well-written, Jitendra was able to revisit his character with fresh enthusiasm and without feeling too much pressure. This allowed the story to progress, he revealed in conversation with HT.

The Amazon Prime Video series, directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, was conceived by The Viral Fever and has been a great hit from the beginning. The third season, which also starred Durgesh, Raghubir Yadav, and Faisal Malik, debuted on May 28. According to reports, the third season of Panchayat had over 12 million views in the first week of its debut.
