Panchayat Season 4 Update: Fans of the beloved Amazon Prime Video series “Panchayat” have a reason to celebrate as the creators have confirmed that Panchayat 4 is in the works. Director Deepak Kumar Mishra has confirmed that work has already begun on Season 4. Additionally, he also mentioned the planning of a fifth season. Following the critical and intense ending of Season 3, the anticipation for the next instalment is at an all-time high.

What to Expect in Panchayat Season 4?

The Director has revealed that the writing for Panchayat 4 has already begun, with a few episodes ready. “We have started writing Season 4. For us, generally, there is no break between two seasons. The third season is over and we have written three to four episodes of the show,” said Mishra. “So far, we have thought about making Season 4 and 5. For Season 4, we have a clear idea, and there is a broader idea for Season 5,” added the director.

The next season promises to answer many lingering questions from the previous season, such as the identity of Pradhan Ji’s attackers and whether Abhishek will finally pass the CAT exam.

Moreover, Panchayat 4 will focus on the Panchayat elections, a pivotal event that will determine the new Pradhan of Phulera Gram Panchayat. New characters introduced in the last season are expected to play significant roles in advancing the storyline.

When Will Panchayat 4 Release?

Panchayat Season 1 premiered on April 3, 2020, followed by Season 2 on May 20, 2022. Season 3 arrived in 2024, indicating a pattern of a two-year gap between each season. Following this trend, fans can expect Season 4 to premiere in the summer of 2026.

How Did Season 3 of Panchayat End?

Panchayat 3 concluded on a dramatic and cliffhanger note. The season revolved around the escalating conflict between MLA Chandra Kishore Singh and the people of Phulera. Abhishek and his friends devised a plan to steal the MLA’s beloved horse as a form of retaliation, leading to a series of violent events. The MLA, humiliated and enraged, sought revenge, resulting in a riot that only settled when his seniors intervened.

The tension peaked when Pradhan Ji was shot by masked goons, leaving him severely injured. This incident ignited a fierce battle between Abhishek, Vikas, Prahlad, Bam Bahadur, and the MLA. The season ended with Abhishek and his friends, including Prahlad, Vikas, Bhushan, Vinod, Madhav, and Bam Bahadur, ending up in jail.
