Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud held the first leaders’ meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council on Monday and discussed cooperation in areas such as energy security, trade and investment, defence and security, healthcare and food security.

Complete ban on manufacturing, storage and sale of firecrackers in Delhi ahead of Diwali
The Delhi government has put a blanket ban on the sale, purchase, and use of all sorts of firecrackers, including green crackers, ahead of the festive season, citing air pollution in the national capital. According to Environment Minister Gopal Rai, the measure is part of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's "winter action plan."
According to the directive, the administration of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has decided to prohibit the manufacture, storage, sale (including online sales), and exploding of fireworks.
Rai has also instructed Delhi police not to issue such licences.
