Telugu Actress Hema Arrested By CCB

Multiple media reports indicate that Bengaluru’s Crime Control Branch has sent out notices to eight persons. These individuals, including the renowned Telugu actress Hema, are asked for their attendance at an upcoming hearing. At a rave that took place recently in our city’s periphery, shocking news surfaced about 86 attendees testing positive for drugs on May 22. The event sent shockwaves through the community as it unveiled the rampant drug use among those who attended the party.

Reportedly, CCB carried out a surprise raid at a rave taking place at GM Farmhouse, located near Electronics City in Singena Agrahara. This incident reportedly happened in the early dawn hours of Sunday, May 20th.

The Karnataka Police’s Anti-Narcotics Division recently broke up a happening party scene- a rave, packed with people. The crowd was a mix of 73 men and 30 women, featuring even a pair of actors from the Telugu film industry. The Telugu actor, along with several other individuals, have persistently failed to comply with over 20 police notices, prompting the police to take a more assertive approach and seek arrest warrants via court involvement.

News reports from The Times of India shared that insiders within the Police department suggest influential figures from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are potentially conspiring to shield the established 57-year-old actor.

What Did Police Find In Bengaluru Rave Party?

During the police raid at the late-night party, several items were confiscated, including 14.40 grams of MDMA tablets, 1.16 grams of MDMA crystals, six grams of premium cannabis, five grams of cocaine, a 500 rupees note dusted with cocaine, and six grams of high-quality marijuana. Furthermore, the authorities also seized five mobile phones, two vehicles (a Volkswagen and a Land Rover), and a DJ setup that included a sophisticated sound and lighting system valued at 1.5 crore rupees.
