At the recent Durga Puja celebrations, many actresses from the industry paid a visit to the Pandal in Juhu (Mumbai) to pay their respects to Goddess Durga. The names include the likes of Hema Malini with her daughter Esha Deol, Rani Mukerji, Kiara Advani, Kajol, Sushmita Sen, and Sharwari Wagh.
In one moment, we could see Rani holding Malini’s hand as she helped her to the stage.
Rani Mukerji looked absolutely stunning in an elegant golden saree complemented by a matching blouse. The Bunty Aur Babli actress wore a choker neckpiece and coordinating earrings. Her hair were tied in a loose bun, and she went for minimal makeup. A delicate bindi added the perfect finishing touch to her stunning look.
In addition to Rani Mukerji, Kajol, like every year, also attended the Durga Puja festivities with her son Yug. She looked charming in a dark pink saree paired with a matching sleeveless blouse. Her elegant look was accentuated by light makeup, golden jhumkas and a neatly tied bun adorned with flowers.
For those who do not know, Kajol and Rani Mukerji are second cousins. Not just that both the actresses shared the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Karan Johar’s blockbuster drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
On the professional front, Rani Mukerji last appeared in the film, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
Kajol, on the other hand, is presently busy with Kriti Sanon’s Do Patti. Made under the direction of Kanika Dhillon, the project will mark Kriti Sanon’s debut as a producer.
