Ratan Tata mocked Bollywood movies for using more ketchup than…: ‘Very irritating’

Ratan Tata passed away on Wednesday, October 9, leaving the final word nation in mourning. As tributes continue to pour in, an old conversation between Ratan Tata and his ex-girlfriend, Simi Garewal, has resurfaced and long gone viral. No matter his monumental responsibilities, Tata had a humorous side and often mocked things he didn’t like. Known for his straight-faced demeanour, he revealed at some point of the interview that his way of relieving stress changed into often as uncomplicated as taking his dog for a run. He candidly told Simi, “Most of my unwinding at some point of the last ten, twelve years has been taking my dog for a run or simply getting out and having a change of %”.

When Simi asked Ratan about his taste in Bollywood movies, he joked in regards to the amount of ketchup Hindi cinema uses for a crime scene. He said, “That that you only may’t help but see them on television this day.” He humorously added that his Hindi had improved from staring at these films, though he criticised the excessive violence and overuse of “ketchup” in Bollywood movies, which amused Simi Garewal. “They’re also violent. I suspect there’s more ketchup spread in Hindi movies than in all the restaurants in Bombay. I’m very irritating to be around after I watch television. I’m very impatient and watch four or five channels on the same time,” he said.
