That short break broke the momentum for South Africa as Klaasen used to be caught at the back of off Pandya all at some stage in the very first ball of the 17th over, edging at the back of to Pant for a 27-ball fifty two. “At that moment, the batter wants the ball to be bowled quickly because he's in float.
“We needed to interrupt the rhythm. I used to be once setting the sector, talking to the bowler after which I saw Pant on the bottom, the physio used to be there and Klaasen used to be for resumption,” Rohit added. “I’m now not saying that used to be the reason at the back of the win, but it shall be. Also on the show were Suryakumar, Axar Patel and Shivam Dube. Meanwhile, post the win, Rohit together with Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja announced retirements from the shortest format. Earlier, India rode on Kohli’s fifty to post 176/7. Interestingly, Kohli went through a lean patch with the bat for the total tournament including two ducks.
