Shahid Kapoor's calm demeanour as he gets photobombed by Pandya brothers at Ambanis' Ganesh Chaturthi bash
Contrary to actor Shahid Kapoor’s popular character Kabir Singh, where he is known to display anger and lose patience often, the actor reacted with a calm demeanor recently. The event unfolded at the recently organised Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 celebrations at industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s house, Antilia on Tuesday, 19 September.
Based on the clips gaining traction online, the Jab We Met star was photobombed by cricketers Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan, who unknowingly stood behind him to pose at the same time.
Shahid, on his part, burst into laughter along with the cricketers, while greeting each other with a firm handshake at the incident.

One user commented, “How sweet he is.” “Shahid is a real hero,” said another user. Several others dropped red hearts and fire emojis on the post.
Star-studded affair
The extravagant event was attended by A-listers namely Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Rekha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with daughter Aaradhya and Salman Khan among others.
Shah Rukh Khan, who is basking in Jawan’s historic success, joined the celebrations alongside wife Gauri Khan, children Suhana and AbRam. Gauri Khan’s mother, Savita Chibber also graced the event with her presence.
Alia Bhatt arrived along with Brahmastra filmmaker Ayan Mukherji, looking resplendent in a red saree as she graced the Ambani event. However, her husband Ranbir Kapoor was not seen with her.
Salman Khan was spotted wearing a dark-coloured kurta and white pyjama and arrived at the venue with his niece Alizeh Agnihotri. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh caught everyone’s attention as the pair posed for photographers stationed at the venue. While the actress donned a pink salwar-kameez set, her husband Ranveer sported a green kurta-pajama.
Other Bollywood stars like Karan Johar, newly weds Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekhaa, Shahid Kapoor, Manish Malhotra and others were also present at the Ambani house.
Work Front
Work wise, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Jio Cinema’s OTT release, Bloody Daddy, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The actor is set to appear in Maddock Films’ upcoming rom-com with Kriti Sanon. The yet-to-be-titled film is scheduled for release in theatres on 7 December.
