Silversea plans special cruise for loyal cruisers, new passengers

Silversea, the splendid cruise line owned by Royal Caribbean Group, has shared its plans for its 2025 Venetian Society Reunion voyage.

"For the first time, Venetian Society members were invited to vote for his or her most popular itinerary," the cruise line said on its website. "The experiential luxury and expedition cruise commute brand will reconvene its extended family of guests on board Silver Spirit from October 17 to October 29, 2025, welcoming both Venetian Society members and first-time guests between Fusina (Venice) and Athens (Piraeus)."

Silversea President Bret Hernandez will host the cruise.

The cruise line sees its Venetian Society Reunion cruises as a chance for past guests to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.

"Right at some stage in the sailing, guests experience special onboard events and receptions, enriched entertainment, and curated shore excursions," the cruise line wrote. "In addition to, Venetian Society members can attend an exclusive signature event ashore, which, curated by Silversea’s destination experts, provides unique insight into the local culture, customs, and history of a destination; a 5% saving on the cruise fare; and commemorative gifts, among other enrichments."

Silversea let its passengers p.c. the ports

Hernandez shared his excitement over sailing on a day out that became selected by the cruise line's loyalty program members.

"Our reunion voyages provide important opportunities to reunite our Venetian Society members each year, enabling our executive teams — both shoreside and shipboard — to meet with our valued guests and celebrate their loyalty," he said. "In 2025, we're ready to seek advice from a lot of the foremost iconic destinations in the Mediterranean, including Venice, Dubrovnik, Santorini, and Rhodes — traveling in the shoulder season for an authentic experience, as we connect with locals."

Departing from the new cruise terminal in Fusina (Venice), this sailing will seek advice from one of many Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations:

• Guests traveling on board Silver Spirit will first detect Trieste near the Slovenian border, where they are going to have the option to explore Piazza Unità d'Italia, one in all Italy’s most spectacular town squares, and marvel at a lot of the u . s . a .’s most striking architecture.
• In Croatia’s Medieval capital, Dubrovnik, guests will delve into the Old City, a Unesco World Heritage Web content; admire fine Renaissance paintings on the Dominican Monastery; and absorb the historic wonderful thing about the Rector's Palace, Maritime Museum, Church of Saint Blaise, and Onofrio's Fountain.
• A scenic drive and an old town walking tour will liberate the charm of Italy’s Bari, while excursions to the cathedral-like marine caves of Polignano a Mare and the Unesco-listed Sassi di Matera exhibit the region’s impressive natural beauty and engaging cultural history.
• An immersion into the Greek islands will combine both iconic and off-the-beaten-path highlights in Corfu, Katakolon (Olympia), Monemvasia (Laconia), Souda Bay (Crete), Santorini with its whitewashed houses carved into rugged clifftops, and the Medieval City of Rhodes.

The cruise will finish in Athens (Piraeus) on Oct. 29, 2025.

There'll be still room on the 2024 Venetian Society cruise

In case you would most probably not wait until 2025, the 2024 Venetian Society Reunion cruise is ideal across the corner.

"Silversea’s 2024 Venetian Society Reunion voyage, with the intention to look guests sail from Tokyo to Singapore on board the new Silver Nova – between October 15 and October 31, 2024," the cruise line said.

This year’s edition will be Hernandez’s first Venetian Society Reunion voyage as president of Silversea. It also marks the first time a Nova-Class ship has hosted the sailing.

"Three overnight calls – in Incheon (Seoul), Hong Kong, and Ho Chi Minh City – will enable guests to commute deeper right into a lot of Asia’s most iconic cities," in keeping with Silversea.
