'The story of a man...' Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur trailer to be on THIS date
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is all set to make an impactful return to the big screen with one of his highly-anticipated films, Sam Bahadur in December this year. Amid the building excitement among fans, thanks to the intriguing teaser and the posters, the release date of the film’s trailer has now also been unveiled.
As per the latest development, the trailer of Sam Bahadur will come out on Tuesday, 7 November. Vicky Kaushal while taking to his Instagram handle shared the news on Monday. He also shared a brand-new poster of the film, leaving fans more excited for the trailer. As Kaushal will be portraying the lead role in the Meghna Gulzar directorial, he is seemingly set to deliver yet another noteworthy performance.
“This story is about the man who dedicated his life to the Indian Army, to the nation. Trailer Out Tomorrow! #SamBahadur in cinemas 1.12.2023,” the actor wrote in the caption.
The poster shows Vicky Kaushal, in the character of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He is dressed in the army uniform while keeping that stern expression intact.
As soon as he dropped the news, fans took to the comment section and showered the poster with love and praise. A fan wrote, “You have transformed yourself completely! With this body language and intensity we are guaranteed a masterpiece!” while another said, “Another masterpiece on the way.”
“We are waiting for this movie,” another one commented.
Sam Bahadur teaser
Prior to this, the actor shared another poster of the film announcing the release date as it will be released on 1 December, 2023. The film’s teaser has also been unveiled, giving a glimpse of Vicky Kaushal taking on the lead role as the fighting patriot, the first Field Marshal of India Sam Manekshaw. The teaser also shows glimpses of actresses Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. While Sanya will be playing the role of Sam Manekshaw’s wife, Silloo, Fatima Sana Shaikh will be portraying former Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi.
Based on his life and career in the Army which spans over four decades and five wars, the film is expected to shed light on how Sam Manekshaw was chosen as the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and his role in gaining military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war that led to the creation of Bangladesh.
