Tirupati Laddu row: SC forms independent SIT to probe claims of use of animal fat in making Tirupati laddus

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday constituted an independent special investigation team to look at out allegations regarding using animal fat inside of the preparation of Tirupati laddus. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) will consist of two officials each from the CBI and the Andhra Pradesh Police, along with a senior official from the FSSAI.
