US Mass Shooting: Several People Shot In Kentucky; Suspect At Large
Several people were shot near Interstate 75 in Laurel County, Kentucky in the US, CNN reported, quoting the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington, CNN reported, quoting the Laurel County Sheriff’s Workplace. The shooting took place near Interstate 75. “I-75 is closed at mile marker/Exit 49, and U.S. 25, nine miles north of London brought on by an active shooter situation,” the sheriff’s place of business said in a post on Facebook. “A number of persons have been shot near I-75,” the statement added.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Scottie Pennington said by strategy of social media the suspect “has now not been caught at the present. We are urging people to remain within.” Law enforcement will provide “as much information since it becomes reachable,” he added.
Governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear urged people to remain away from I-75 area.
In a post on X, he said, “Kentucky, we are aware of a shooting on I-75 in Laurel County. Law enforcement has shut the interstate down in both directions at exit 49. Please steer clear of the realm. We can provide more small print after they're reachable.”

Beshear added that the protection forces are monitoring the positioning.
In a post on X, he said, “I am receiving initial reports from the Kentucky State Police and our Workplace of Place of birth Security — together we are actively monitoring the positioning and offering make stronger in any way conceivable. Please pray for every person involved.”
