Former India captain Virat Kohli achieved a unparalleled record on Day four of the rain-hit 2d Test vs Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Monday. Kohli, like a spread of the Indian batters, came out all guns blazing and raced to Forty two off 29 balls by the time he crossed 35 runs within the first innings of the game achieved a unparalleled milestone that no other batter has been ready to reach in 147 years of international cricket.

Kohli completed 27,000 international runs and became the first-ever batter to complete this feat in not as much as 600 innings. The Royal Challengers Bangalore batter has managed to complete this large feat in 594 innings.
