Virat Kohli wins ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year award after stellar 2023
Senior India batter Virat Kohli was on Thursday announced the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year following a stellar 2023 where he roared back to form and broke several records, most notably Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries.
Kohli had finished the year with 1377 runs from 27 ODIs at an average of 72.47, while amassing six centuries. He would also go onto amass 765 runs in India’s World Cup campaign on home soil, where the Men in Blue finished runners-up after losing to Australia in the final in Ahmedabad.
