Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, is all set to tie the knot with his lady love, Radhika Merchant, on July 12. It will be a big fat Indian wedding in Mumbai. The luxurious wedding invite of Anant and Radhika is going viral on social media. Packaged beautifully within a box, the giant-sized wedding card features a stunning silver temple. Filled with photos and frames of various Hindu gods, the invite has been shared with guests. A video offering a first peek at the wedding invite, the first of which was offered at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, was recently shared on Instagram. When you open the box containing the silver temple, Hindi mantras play in the background. It appears that there are some gold idols with silver backgrounds inside the box.
Inside the wedding box, there is a beautifully handwritten letter from Nita and Mukesh. The next pages hold small cards with details about the different events planned for the wedding. Each event note is accompanied by a pop-up card on the other side of the page, which opens up to either Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesh and Goddess Durga.
There is a silver card that looks like the main gate of an ancient temple. The card, along with details, features pictures of several Hindu deities, including Lord Ganesh, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Radha-Krishna, and Goddess Durga. There is also a cloth that has the initials of Radhika and Anant (RA). The second invite is a box, again made of silver, adorned with images of Lord Vishnu. The box contains several tiny frames and idols of Hindu gods along with a shawl.
Anant Ambani proposed to Radhika at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, a holy Hindu site on the banks of the Banas River. Following their formal engagement ceremony, they held a dinner with their parents, grandparents, and siblings in 2023.
Their pre-wedding festivities were the highligts of 2024. The first event kicked off in Jamnagar, Gujarat, with international bigwigs like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates flying down to the small town to celebrate with their fellow billionaires and watch performances by Rihanna and Diljit Dosanjh.
The secod grand event was at a cruise, dubbed “La Dolce Vita” to capture the spirit of an Italian summer, docked in Portofino. It started from May 27 to June 1.
