When Aamir Khan Abused on The Sets of Ghajini For THIS Reason

Aamir Khan‘s muscular appearance in the 2008 psychological action film ‘Ghajini‘ became the talk of the town. While filming an action scene, Khan experienced a severe cramp, according to Pradeep Rawat, who played the villain in the movie. He recalled a rough battle scene where Aamir cried out in agony and went out to abuse. In the Hyderabad-shot climactic sequence, Aamir Khan’s character, who was out to get revenge for the death of his lover, was pursuing Rawat’s character, Ghajini. He jumped atop a mattress to make sure Aamir could land without getting hurt, he heard a scream.

“I was supposed to run for a bit and jump on the mattresses, and Aamir was supposed to follow suit. While jumping, I ensured there was space for Aamir to jump and land on the mattress, but the next I heard was him crying in pain. ‘Are baap re…!’ I saw him scream in excruciating pain. This was the first time I heard him abuse.” He had to be picked up. However, what was astonishing was Aamir’s commitment to his Ghajini part. He pushed his body to the maximum by drinking less water, avoiding sodium, and engaging in intense exercise to get his renowned six-pack abs. His body was strained by the intense action sequences and excessive dehydration, which is why he had a bad cramp at that specific moment.

A month later, Aamir experienced yet another traumatic event at the same spot. This time, he felt another terrible spasm in his muscles as he tried to raise Rawat and press him against a wall. “I heard him scream in pain. This time, he had to be lifted on a stretcher. He wasn’t in a condition to walk. The fight sequences required a lot of running which meant he lost a lot of fluids and suffered a cramp owing to the dehydration.”

Khan got injured while filming a similar action scene again. He needed to be helped onto a stretcher this time. He was too injured to walk. His ex-wife Reena Dutta drove him to the hospital where he received medical attention. The film’s production was put on hold for three months.
