Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has taken a sturdy exception to the banks deducting month-to-month installments of loans from the accounts of the victims and survivors of the landslide in Wayanad and demanded that these loans be written off definitely.

“Waiving loans would now no longer impose any unbearable burden upon the banks, and so it is able to be going to be written off definitely,” identified Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday, 19 August 2024.
