Actress Zeenat Aman remembers eloping to Singapore to marry Mazhar Khan; see post
Veteran diva Zeenat Aman has been acing the social media game with her Instagram posts. Ever since making her debut on Instagram back in February this year, the yesteryear actress has been dropping several throwback stills from her numerous films. Not just that, she also shares behind-the-scene tales from these classics.
However, her recent post is not about her work, but her personal life. Zeenat Aman recalled in her social media post that she eloped to Singapore to tie the knot with director Mazhar Khan. The actress was recently in the national capital to attend a wedding ceremony.

Zeenat Aman took to her official Instagram handle and dropped a photograph with the happy bride and the groom. Her post also included a long note that read, “My own wedding to the father of my children was a discreet affair. We eloped, and got married in Singapore in a low-key ceremony with just two witnesses.”
She added in her post that she cannot resist the charm of a big fat Indian wedding.
Zeenat Aman on designer clothes
Zeenat Aman further stated that the designer clothes she is seen wearing on social media during such events are borrowed and returned later on.
“Most of the fancy designer outfits that I wear to such occasions are borrowed. I’m sharing this because I don’t want young people to feel pressured to buy new outfits or spend beyond their means just because they see celebrities in designer clothes,” she said.
Zeenat Aman was known for her bold and unconventional choices back in the day. Now, her post is a good lesson on how one must stay true to themselves. In times when one’s image is more important that anything else, we need celebs like her to keep us grounded.
Zeenat Aman tied the knot with Mazhar Khan back in 1985. The filmmaker died in 1998. The duo have two sons – Azaan Khan and Zahaan Khan.
In the past as well, Zeenat Aman took the internet by storm with her throwback posts and jaw-dropping revelations. She shared her experience of working in her popular films such as Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
Zeenat Aman also recently penned a heartfelt note for her Don co-star Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday on 11 October. She penned the note for Big B, along with a throwback photo of the two, most likely from a photoshoot.
