Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have parted ways after dating for two years. The couple whose picture went viral from their first-ever vacation, are trying to move on.
Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur had only been dating for around two years when rumours of their alleged split went viral. Following their combined appearance at Kriti Sanon’s Diwali celebration last year, Ananya and Aditya’s relationship rumours surfaced on social media. They were seen together at a number of parties and events, but they were careful to arrive and go separately so as to maintain their act in front of the paps. However, the couple has parted ways and the news came as a shock to their friends.

“That they broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely,” a close friend of the actors told the Bombay Times.
Ananya Panday’s Cryptic Post After Breakup
Earlier this month, Ananya Panday’s cryptic note raised breakup speculations. The note read, “If it is truly meant for you, it will come back to you. It will leave only for the sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn on your own. If it is truly meant for you, it will return even if you’ve pushed it away, even if you’re in denial, even if you assume something so beautiful could never be truly yours – because if it’s truly meant for you, it is never not a piece of you. It is never not intricately tied into the depths of your soul.” The caption on the note read – Monday Manifesting alongside a thank you, an evil eye emoji and a blue butterfly emoji.
Ananya Panday’s appearance on ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ last year was the turning point for it all. While the actress was discussing relationships, Karan Johar hinted that she and Aditya may be dating. The ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan‘ actor and Aditya then went on a romantic trip to Europe. They had also previously gone to an Arctic Monkeys performance in Madrid together.
