Arbaaz Khan on Giorgia Andriani's interviews on their breakup before his second marriage: 'It's unfortunate that...'

Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and celebrity makeup artist Shura Khan tied the knot in December last year. A few days before their marriage, Arbaaz’s ex-girlfriend, Giorgia Andriani, discussed their breakup in an interview. Now, Arbaaz has addressed the issue, stating that the timing of Giorgia’s interview was inappropriate.

Speaking to Indianexpress.com, Arbaaz said, “I was done with my previous relationship almost two years before I even met her (Shura). I know some of the recent interviews somehow give the feeling that things were right till the end, which is not true. It is unfortunate that I have to sit here and make such clarification but my previous relationship was over almost one and half years before I even met Shura. I had a year of dating period with her. There was no timeline given in those interviews and such interviews make people believe that ‘Oh I moved from this into that’. But that’s not true. I was not dating anyone for almost a year and a half till I met Shura. That is the reality.”

Arbaaz Khan also mentioned, “The timing of somebody speaking about a breakup just around the time I was getting married and post my marriage, seems a little inappropriate. If you have broken up almost two years back and you didn’t have the option to speak about it then, then to speak about it now, doesn’t seem right. Talking about your personal relationship in public is a no. The world knew I was dating this person, now he has moved on, I have moved on, probably she is seeing someone else at this point and it is not appropriate for me to talk.”

Just so you know, In an interview with Hindustan Times in December 2023, Giorgia Andriani stated, “It took us a long time to make this decision, but we eventually decided to part ways mutually. We had a distinct point of view about our future plans and lives in general.”

The actress Karoline Kamakshi actress added, “What I value in a relationship is having similar interests, but sadly we didn’t share any mutual interests, which was not favorable for our relationship. For example, I am a whimsical person and I like to travel on a whim. If I’m free and I decide I want to go somewhere, I go. It didn’t feel right when he didn’t want the same things. Arbaaz loves to sit and watch movies and documentaries. I am very different, I can’t sit.”

Before marrying Shura Khan, Arbaaz Khan was previously wed to actress Malaika Arora. They got divorced in 2017.
