Bhuvan Bam on claims of buying a house worth Rs 11 crore in Delhi: 'I am under fire right now'

One of India’s most successful comedians and social media personalities Bhuvan Bam was recently in news when it was reported he has bought a house in the capital (New Delhi) worth Rs 11 crore. Reportedly, the property was registered in Bhuvan‘s name on August 7 last year after the completion of the sale deed. It involved a stamp duty payment of 77 lakhs.

Speaking to Hindustan Times about the same, Bhuvan was quoted saying, “Arre nahi, galat hai. Yes I have got a house, I don’t know how this news got out. I didn’t know. I was so scared because I had not told people in my family as well. They called me after the news got out. I am under fire right now, I don’t know what to tell them!”

He added, “It is a good feeling. But materialistic things don’t excite me much now. A house is something I always wanted, to build a house on my own. It is a feeling I cannot put in words. It is something I want to live for the next one and a half years, I want to build it. I want to keep it as private as possible.”

Located in Greater Kailash Part 3, the property acquired by Bhuvan Bam has a land area of 1,937 square feet and a total area of 2,233 square feet. This new bungalow is quite spacious and consists of a living room, four bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a designated dining area, a terrace, and a lush lawn. Furthermore, with ample parking for two cars, the property comes with a full security system.
