The Union Budget of 2024 was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on 1st February 2024. While the detailed discussion about this will soon start among the people, here’s a throwback to when the Chandu Champion star Kartik Aaryan opened up about his mother controlling his finances and also giving him pocket money.
“My mother handles my money. I don’t know how much money there is in my account or if there is any money or not… I wanted to buy a car on my birthday, but mummy refused, saying that there is no money. She said maybe next year or sometime later, but, ‘Abhi nahi le sakte (You cannot buy right now)’. I have no option but to believe what my mother tells him, because I don’t even know where to check how much money I have, I don’t know kaunsa (which) account hai (it is),” said the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor while talking to Film Companion.
He added, “She just doesn’t want me to get spoilt. She thinks I can still get spoilt. I have lived my life where I spent more than my earnings. So, I think she is used to that idea and she doesn’t like it. She has decided isko pocket money mein hi rakho, usme sudhra rahega (She gives me pocket money to keep me in check).”
Meanwhile on the work front, After Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Aashiqui 3 and will begin shooting for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions epic war saga Directed by Sandeep Modi.
He was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha costarring Kiara Advani, Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, Shikha Talsania and others. The film was a box office success and earned over Rs 100 crore globally.
