Gaza War: Israel military finds weapons, inciting games for children in Hamas commander's house

As Israeli forces engaged a Hamas terror unit holed up in a neighboring school, weapons and games meant to inspire children to violence were found in the home of a Hamas commander on the outskirts of Khan Yunis, the Israel Defence Forces announced on Saturday.

According to the IDF, three Hamas agents were slain inside the school in the Bani Suheila district of Khan Yunis. Along with RPGs, the three carried intelligence regarding the Khan Yunis Brigade of Hamas.

Israeli troops discovered a sizable stash of armaments, including battle vests, ammunition, and grenades, inside the residence of a Hamas commander in Gaza. According to the IDF, some of the weapons were discovered adjacent to various toys and games in a child’s bedroom. A few of the games were deemed provocative by the IDF.

One image made public by the IDF featured a jigsaw with young Arab soldiers invading Israel.

Also on Saturday, the IDF released a video of senior IDF officers holding a general assessment within Khan Yunis on Friday.

On October 7, Hamas attacked Israeli villages close to the Gaza border, killing at least 1,200 people.

It is now estimated that Hamas has 129 men, women, children, military, and foreigners in their custody in Gaza. While Israeli police continue to identify dead and look for human remains, some persons are still missing.
