How Shah Rukh Khan’s & Atlee's Jawan becomes the first film to reach 500cr on a weekend worldwide

It’s been just four days the release of Jawan and the film has achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first to breach the 500 crores mark in just four days. Since the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, the excitement among the audience is constantly at its peak.

The film has indeed come as a festival for the audiences who are seen celebrating it all across the country. Jawan is leaving no stone unturned to leave its mark on box office. While the film created history by booking the biggest opening ever in Hindi cinema with 129.6 crores gross worldwide, Jawan has been unstoppable and has continued to grow and maintain its strong hold day after day.

In fact, the film has collected an an incredible 100 crores plus per day worldwide consecutively four days in a row, a number achieved by none till date. This also makes the film the fastest to achieve 500 crores globally.

Music, moments have all connected with the audiences and they have showered immense love on Jawan. ‘Jawan’ is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film was released worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

You cannot ignore the star presence of Shah Rukh Khan because his magic is intoxicating. Going strong at 57, SRK movies in theatres, is like a celebration and most importantly the connect that he can build with the audiences is mind blowing.  You come out of the hall feeling happy because it is King Khan fighting against the system. A socio political film with a message, the content was not only entertaining, but engaging too. Very rarely do you get to see such an entertaining movie in the cinema halls with a strong message. King Khan has touched upon every issues which we all need to think about whether it is the farmers’ suicides, painful state of government hospitals or the condition of the arms and armaments our brave soldiers fight with. He insisted on the power of voting to the citizens of India and why it is important to choose our leaders intelligently.
