Hrithik Roshan Reacts To Post Supporting Kangana Ranaut After Slap Incident; Fans Wonder Why
Hrithik Roshan, who was previously embroiled in a controversy with actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, has now responded to it.
Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines ever since a CISF constable allegedly slapped the newly elected MP at Chandigarh airport. The news quickly gained traction, with some defending the CISF constable’s actions while others supported Kangana. Now, in a new development, a viral Reddit post claims that Hrithik Roshan liked an Instagram post made in support of Kangana after the slap incident.
The Instagram post, by Faye D’Souza, read, “With reference to the incident of MP Kangana Ranaut being slapped at an airport, violence can never be the answer. Especially not in our country that was born out of Gandhi’s ideas of non-violence. It doesn’t matter how much we disagree with views and statements made by someone, we cannot react with violence and we should not condone it.”
She added, “It is particularly dangerous when security personnel react violently while in uniform. Imagine, over the last ten years, if those of us who questioned power were assaulted at airports by constables who were in agreement with that power.” Reddit users allegedly claimed that Hrithik Roshan liked Faye D’Souza’s post. After the reddit post went online, fans are now wondering why did Hrithik liked the post.

What Exactly Happened With Kangana At Chandigarh Airport?
The slap incident occurred on June 6 when newly elected MP Kangana was travelling from Chandigarh to Delhi for a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting. However, tensions rose when a CISF constable allegedly slapped the actor, resulting in an FIR being registered against the constable. Several hours after the incident, Kangana shared a video on her official Instagram page, recounting the details and expressing concerns about the ‘escalating terrorism and extremism in Punjab.’
In the video, Kangana said, “I am getting a lot of phone calls from the media and my well-wishers. Firstly, I am safe. I am perfectly fine. The incident that took place happened at Chandigarh airport with security staff. The moment I came out after the security check, a security staff member in another cabin came from the side and hit me on my face and started abusing me.”
“When I asked her (the CISF jawan) why she did this, she said that she supported the farmers’ protest. I am safe, but my concern is that the terrorism and extremism that is rising in Punjab, how do we handle that?” she asked.”
