Usman Khawaja scores a 71-ball half-century as Australia post 94/3 at lunch break on Day 1 of the second Test. Ashwin with two wickets, those of Labuschagne and Smith, while Shami removed Warner, who was looking out of touch today. We will be back for the post-lunch session in around 40 minutes.

Ravindra Jadeja into the attack for the first time today. He replaces Shami in the bowling attack, and there is a shout for LBW against Khawaja right away. Original decision is not out, and India opt for the review. India lose their review, as ball-tracking shows it's missing leg stump. Khawaja collects a boundary the very next ball, playing the reverse sweep and playing it square past point region. Khawaja moves to 45.

Shami replaces Siraj as play resumes after the drinks break. There's luck for Khawaja after the break as he gets a thick inside edge, the ball going past the stumps en route to fine leg boundary. Warner also punishes Shami in the over, finding the fine leg boundary for a four. Easy pickings for Australia this, asthe 50-run stand between Warner and Khawaja comes up. 13 runs off the over.

Some brilliant bowling from Ashwin to David Warner as he delivers yet another maiden over. There's turn and bounce off the fifth ball of the over, a delivery that is on length and outside off, and Warner decides to leave this one. Tidy stuff from Ashwin. The physio is out there tending to Warner, and he looks good to continue.
