India W vs Australia W Live:

Hello and Welcome to live coverage of the 2nd T20I between India and Australia. India were at the receiving end of a thrashing in the first T20I and will look to amend their game in the second outing at the DY Patil Stadium. Toss is a few minutes away and it will be hold deep significance as we witnessed in the first match.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian team will eye to level the five-match T20I series against Australia after being thumped in the first T20I by nine wickets.

The Indian team had a good outing with the bat, especially as the middle order came to the fore after a rookie start from the top order. However, the bowlers were not able to contain the Aussie batters and the fielders gave away too many chances as well as runs quite easily.

Australia, on the other hand, were as calm as champions would be and chased an intimidating target of 172 with 11 deliveries to spare.

The openers were brilliant in their approach and even after the wicket of skipper Alyssa Healy, Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath continued to bat with some impetus and increase the scoring rate.

Australia will however miss spinner Jess Jonassen who was ruled out earlier on Sunday with a hamstring injury.
