IPL 2023 Points Table, Orange and Purple Cap list: LSG jump to top with five-wicket win; SRH remain at bottom

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) jumped to the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by five wickets in Lucknow on Friday, going past defending champions Gujarat Titans in the process.

SRH remained at the bottom of the points table after losing a second game in a row, having earlier lost by 72 runs against Rajasthan Royals at home.

GT and Punjab Kings (PBKS), meanwhile, are the only remaining teams to have a hundred per cent start to the 16th season that got underway on 31 March and occupy the second and third spots.
