Is 'The Kashmir Files' director Vivek Agnihotri's tweet on Article 370 a hint at his next 'The Delhi Files'?

The Supreme Court pronounced its verdict on Article 370 on December 11, which was abrogated back in 2019. Amid the verdict, The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri put out a tweet that seemed like an announcement of his next film The Delhi Files.

He also tweeted- “First, I congratulate and thank @narendramodi & @AmitShah for abrogating Article 370. I also thank SC for upholding the #RightToJustice. Justice SC Kaul’s has made a very important recommendation. It’s time India sets up TARC for all the Genocides of last 75 years. Starting from Direct Action Day till Delhi Riots of 2020. It’s time India takes Genocides and citizens #RightToLife very seriously.”

In an exclusive interview with Firstpost ahead of the release of The Vaccine War, Agnihotri spoke about this film and the idea behind making a film on this subject. “The entire world shut down three years back and there was only darkness and no hope, and the enemy was invisible. After 8-9 months, when I took the vaccine, I couldn’t even feel I took the vaccine. That’s what fascinated me and I asked myself as to who made these vaccines. Everyone said India will never be able to make a vaccine, 40-50% of the population will perish, and that we have a poor medical infrastructure,” said the filmmaker.

He added, “I asked who are these people that keep working and we don’t even recognize them. That’s how the whole journey started. This is a superhero story for our young generation, and also a story that can be seen 50 years later. This film is going to be a milestone chapter.”
