Ishq Vishk Rebound: Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal starrer to release on THIS date
The makers of Ishq Vishk Rebound starring Pashmina Roshan, Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal have finally unveiled the release date of their coming-of-age-romantic drama. The movie is set to hit the screens on 28th June. It is the spirit sequel of Ishq Vishk, which marked the Bollywood debut of Shahid Kapoor alongside Amrita Rao, Shenaz Treasury and Vishal Malhotra.
While the movie marks the grand Bollywood debut of Hrithik Roshan‘s cousin Pashmina, Jibraan Khan worked as a child actor in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Rishtey and Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta. On the other hand, Rohit Saraf and Naila Grewal impressed everyone with their performances in Mismatched.
Talking about the film, Rohit Saraf had said News 18, “I am actually very excited. Nervousness comes in just before a project is about to drop but before that there is just tonne and tonne of excitement. I am really looking forward to it. I feel like it is something that audiences will enjoy, my audience will enjoy.”
He said that he is not stepping into the shoes of Shahid Kapoor and added, “I am not stepping into Shahid (Kapoor)’s shoes. The only thing that the two films, Ishq Vishk and Ishq Vishk Rebound hold in common is just the name. It is the franchise which is common. It is not stepping into anybody’s shoes. It is a very different story. It is a story about new age love. It is a story about love and friendship in today’s world, in 2023.”
Produced by Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films, the film is directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, who previously helmed Marathi films like Me Vasantrao, Baapjanma and Dhappa. He also co-directed Mismatched.
