Israel-Palestine War: Head of Hamas' aerial force killed in overnight strike
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that it has killed the head of Hamas’ aerial force who was responsible for directing terrorists to infiltrate into Israel using hand gliders on 7 October.
The head, Murad Abu Murad, was killed in an overnight airstrike in the Gaza Strip. The strike targeted the headquarters which is used to manage Hamas’ aerial activity, according to IDF.

It said that Murad “took a big part in directing terrorists during the massacre” last weekend.
Apart from this, IDF has also killed 3-4 terrorists that were attempting infiltration into Israel from Lebanon.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians have fled their homes in Gaza since Israel issued a warning to evacuate north of Wadi Gaza on Friday, a statement by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Saturday.
The statement added that more than 400,000 Palestinians had been internally displaced.
Israeli infantry made their first raids into the Gaza Strip on Friday since Hamas fighters rampaged through southern Israel, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a campaign of retaliation had only just begun.
