Stree 2 has emerged as one amongst of the biggest Hindi films of the year. It has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan Hindi version on the box place of job, earning Rs 586 crore thus far. While the film continues to break records everywhere, an actor from the Stree 2 has slammed Shraddha Kapoor from taking each and every of the credit for the film’s success. Speaking to IWM Buzz, the actor used to be quoted saying, “Sir, what to do? It’s all about hardselling one’s own image. Aaj kal apni taarif khud karni pardti hai. But to assert that the film is running on her account is like Jayaji claiming Sholay ran on her account.”
The actor to boot added, “One can definitely never hear any actor or technician from Sholay claiming to be its USP, now no longer even director Ramesh Sippy. Now not even Salim-Javed who wrote Sholay.”
Stree 2 Director Denies Credit War Among The Cast
Well, the film’s director Amar Kaushik also addressed this controversy, discussing that it’s all made up. Speaking to India Nowadays, Amar said, “We are extremely close. Even when something goes wrong, we are saying it to each and every other to their face. There's no formality between us. Or not it is far completely fan-created controversy. When a movie does well, the fans think it truly is attributable to their favourite famous person. It's nice for our film’s business. On account of controversy, more people are gazing this film.”
Recently, Abhishek Banerjee also addressed the Stree 2 credit war controversy. He told PTI, “We are very secure actors. And even supposing we're insecure, we are saying everything out loud. Like, I might do that a lot on song shoots and say, I be centre frame simply to irritate my co-stars.”
