Laapataa Ladies Actor Sparsh Shrivastava gets emotional after film gets official entry for Oscars 2025: ‘Kiran ma’am, Aamir sir…’

Actor Sparsh Shrivastava, who essayed the role of Deepak in ‘Laapataa Females’, is currently on cloud nine as his film has been chosen as India’s official entry for Oscars 2025. Directed by Kiran Rao and produced less than the banners of Aamir Khan Productions, Kindling Pictures, and Jio Studios, ‘Laapataa Females’ changed into released in theatres on March 1, 2024. “I never expected this. I'm grateful to Kiran Ma’am and Aamir sir for trusting me. I'm going to’t thank them enough,” he added.

A long time ago, Kiran Rao took to Instagram and penned a lengthy note filled with gratitude.

“I'm deeply honoured and beyond delighted that our film Laapataa Females has been chosen as India’s official entry to the Academy Awards.
