Las Vegas Strip Adding a Truly Unique Entertainment/Play Venue

While it seems like the Strip has everything, it does not have anything like what's coming to a key Caesars-owned location.

Sometimes it seems like the big players on the Las Vegas Strip have agreed to play an endless game of "top this." If MGM Resorts International adds a new type of store or an entertainment option that has never been seen on the Strip before Caesars Entertainment (CZR) - Get Free Report, Wynn Resorts (WYNN) - Get Free Report, Resorts World Las Vegas, The Venetian, and other players immediately try to come up with something bigger and/or better.

That's why the Las Vegas Strip has a seemingly endless array of spectacular venues. Even fairly pedestrian ideas like the M&M's store or Hershey's World exist on such a grand scale, they make your local mall look tiny in comparison.

Las Vegas does everything bigger and better. That's why the city has everything from the biggest marijuana dispensary in the world to the upcoming one-of-a-kind MSG Sphere concert hall, as well as cutting-edge e-sports venues, unique day clubs, and restaurants on a scale that does not exist anywhere else.

You could spend weeks eating only in restaurants owned by TV chefs or dine only at steakhouses for a month without repeating yourself. In fact, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip have so many unique venues that bringing something new to Sin City has become a challenge.

Caesars has met that challenge, however, by adding a second-of-its-kind entertainment experience to one of its properties on the Las Vegas Strip.

Caesars Brings Electric Playhouse to Las Vegas

Las Vegas has become such a draw that any unique concept that has succeeded in one market has to at least consider giving Sin City a try. That's at least partially why Albuquerque, N.M.'s Electric Playhouse, which calls itself " the premier destination for interactive and immersive play experiences," plans to bring its second location to the Las Vegas Strip.

"We are excited to bring the Electric Playhouse experience to the Las Vegas Strip and thrilled to be joining The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, one of the most iconic shopping destinations in Las Vegas," said Electric Playhouse CEO Brandon Garrett.

The CEO shared some of the philosophy behind his company, which also sheds some light on why it makes sense for the Las Vegas Strip.

"Play is essential for all ages, not just for children. It is at the core of the human experience. It helps us to connect with others, to connect with ourselves, to be creative, to be inspired, and to have fun. We believe that play can change the world, and we want to share that with Las Vegas," he added.

What Is Electric Playhouse?

The original Electric Playhouse offers a number of interactive games generally designed for more than one player. These include:

  • Guacamole: Join the epic race to collect all of your colored tiles the fastest.
  • Power Slide: No standing in one spot, these dots move abruptly. Who will outlast them all?
  • Reverse: Pick your color because you'll be stuck following it to outlast your fellow competitors
  • Paint Pong: Kick up a masterpiece that even Jackson Pollock would admire.

The new location will feature some of those favorites as well as "a unique and exciting environment where people can come together to play, dine, and celebrate. The location will feature an array of cutting-edge interactive and immersive games, art shows, and events," according to the company.

Not just a place for interactive play, Electric Playhouse also serves a modern art gallery.

"Electric Playhouse is the ultimate destination for art lovers seeking an innovative and immersive experience," the company shared on its website, "Our cutting-edge combination of projection mapping and sensors brings art to life, creating interactive and captivating journeys for our guests. By collaborating with local artists and museums, we are dedicated to elevating the art experience and fostering a deeper connection and exploration of the creative process.".

In addition to being open to the public, Electric Playhouse, which offers a full restaurant and bar can also be rented for corporate events, birthdays, and other gatherings.

"Electric Playhouse is committed to fostering a sense of community and connection through play-based activities and events. The Las Vegas location will expand this mission, providing a fun, inclusive and safe space for guests to play, connect and create memories," the company added.

The new location will open at the Caesars Forum, with frontage directly on the Las Vegas Strip, in the summer.
