Las Vegas Strip brings back classic superstar residency

Fans of Las Vegas Strip star headliners are often disappointed when a residency ends, especially if they didn't get the opportunity to catch their favorite entertainer during a certain engagement. But then again, those same fans can be overwhelmed with joy when one of their favorite performers returns to the Strip for another residency.

Legendary Osmond Brothers singer Donny Osmond finished his North American Tour Aug. 13 and will resume his residency at Harrah's Las Vegas Showroom on Sept. 5 and ending Nov. 11, before embarking on a UK tour from Nov. 28 through Dec. 14. Osmond began his Harrah's residency in August 2021. Vegas can't get enough of Osmond as he signed on for another 55 shows beginning Jan. 23, 2024.

Lady Gaga returns to the Strip

Lady Gaga performed her popular Enigma + Jazz & Piano residency on the Strip as it ran Dec. 28, 2018, through May 1, 2022, at MGM Resorts International's  (MGM) - Get Free Report Park Theater at the Park MGM. The "Paparazzi" singer will make her return to the Strip at Dolby Live at the Park MGM, for a 12-show Jazz + Piano residency. The engagement will run Aug. 31, Sept. 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 28, 30, Oct. 1, 4 and 5. 

Superstar popular music and country star Shania Twain has performed two long-running residencies on the Strip, her "Still the One" engagement at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2012-14 and "Let's Go" at the Zappos Theater, before it was renamed Bakkt Theater, at Caesars Entertainment's  (CZR) - Get Free Report Planet Hollywood Las Vegas in 2019-22.

Fans of Twain had to wait awhile for her return to the Strip, but the "From This Moment On" singer on Aug. 15 released details of her new "Come On Over" Vegas residency, a 24-show run beginning May 10 and concluding Dec. 14.

Shania Twain has many special deals for fans

Twain's marketing for her shows is considerably extensive. The residency offers Premium Group Table Packages for six with bottle of champagne, dedicated beverage service and access to a dedicated VIP entrance to skip the general public line. The shows also offer the Premium Loveseat Table Package for two with a glass of champagne for each person, dedicated beverage service and dedicated VIP entrance.

Several ticket add-ons that don't include a ticket to the show are available, including:

• "Still The One" On Stage Proposal Package that includes a preshow meet and greet and more.
• "From This Moment" VIP Package that includes an on-stage serenade by Twain for two people and more.
• "Party  For Two" that allows a certain group to introduce the song "Party For Two" with Twain and more.
• "Come On Over" Package allows package holders an on-stage photo with Twain during the show and more.
• Shania Kids Can Backstage Meet & Greet to meet Twain backstage before the show and be photographed with the singer.
• Pre-Show Reception that includes VIP check-in and early entrance to the venue lobby and two complimentary drinks.
• Premier Venue Access through the dedicated VIP Entrance to bypass the general public line.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at Ticketmaster.com Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. Pacific time, though three different pre-sales are on sale Aug. 16 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Pacific time. Ticket packages and add-ons are available at Ticketmaster, as well.
