Major terrorist attack in Pakistan, bomb blast hits convoy of ambassadors of 11 countries

New Delhi: In a significant terrorist attack in Pakistan, a convoy of the ambassadors of 11 countries, including Russia became hit by a large explosion, said to be by reason of a bomb blast.
One person died while four were injured. In accordance with the reports, the blast took place within the Jahanabad area of Swat district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The convoy included diplomats from Russia, Vietnam, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Portugal.
Heavy police force and military were deployed for security on the back of the bus carrying the diplomats, but then a blast took place in a bus which became the a element of the convoy while according to a senior official, it became a roadside blast that became by reason of an improvised explosive device (IED), concentrated on the convoy.
A police official said that the blast became carried out through faraway and the convoy became going from Islamabad towards Malam Jabba, a stunning hilly area of Swat district.
In accordance with the guidelines, each of the diplomats are safe.
