'May there be peace, harmony': Keshav Maharaj wishes Indian community ahead of Ram Mandir's Pran Pratishtha
South Africa cricketer Keshav Maharaj on Sunday posted a video message on social media, wishing the Indian community in South Africa the best ahead of the Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, that will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (22 January). “Namaste everyone. I just want to wish my Indian community in South Africa for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya tomorrow. May be there peace, harmony and spiritual enlightenment to all. Jai Shree Ram,” Maharaj said in the video.

Maharaj has previously revealed that he himself is a devotee of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman, even going onto elaborate on the “Ram Siya Ram” song that was played during India’s tour of South Africa recently.
“For me, God’s been my greatest blessing and if I get an opportunity it’s the least I can do and it gets you in the zone and get that respect from other players,” he had said.
Meanwhile, former India spinner Anil Kumble arrived in Lucknow on Sunday ahead of the Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya. Apart from Kumble, several other cricketers, including Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Ravichandran Ashwin and Harmanpreet Kaur have been invited for the ceremony.
