Jitendra Kumar Opens up About His Unemployment Days And Finding His Way into Acting

Jitendra reflected on his period of unemployment and how he overcame it. He said, “I would say, jo unemployment hai aapko bahut sikhata hai. Uss time pe aap itne desperate hote ho ki aapko koi bole ki yeh kaam karlo so you will give it a try. So, uss time pe maine jab koi job nhi mil rahi thi, I tried for 4-5 months continuously sending mails and CVs, but it didn’t happen. Toh, I got really desperate, like coming from IIT, everybody is getting a good job, jo bhi vahn pe sare dost hai unki job lag rahi hai, ache packages lag rahe the and I was supposed to get that job, but I didn’t, so wo ek badi ajeeb si desperate vali feeling hoti hai. (I would say unemployment teaches you a lot. During that time, you become so desperate that if someone suggests you do something, you are willing to give it a try. When I couldn’t find a job, I spent 4-5 months continuously sending emails and CVs, but nothing worked out. I became really desperate. Coming from IIT, everyone around me was getting good jobs and great packages, and I was supposed to get one too, but I didn’t. It’s a very strange and desperate feeling.)

He also revealed that TVF was the only job available to him, which led him to enter into acting, “Uss time pe aapko koi bhi kuch suggest karta hai, toh aap kuch nhi sochte, you just go for it and want to give it a try. So wahi feeling thi, unemployment ne mujhko bahut inspire kiya ki the only job available was TVF, jo bhi saare kaam hai sambhalna hai aur sath main acting karne ka bhi mauka milega. Maine bahut dard ke saath khushi-khushi vo cheez ki. (At that time, if anyone suggested anything, you wouldn’t think twice; you’d just go for it. That same feeling inspired me during my unemployment. The only job available was TVF, where I had to handle various tasks and also got the opportunity to act. I did it with a lot of pain but also with joy.)

Jitendra Kumar’s journey is a testament to his talent and dedication. As viewers eagerly await more seasons of Panchayat, his performances continue to leave a lasting impact.
