Ranveer Singh to Undergo Major Physical Transformation For Upcoming Project; Actor to Gain 15 Kgs For New Role

Ranveer Singh, who will soon become a ‘proud papa,’ is preparing for his next project. According to a report, Ranveer is expected to undergo a massive physical transformation, putting on some weight for his upcoming on-screen role. While fans eagerly await official news on Ranveer’s next project, writer Shobhaa De provided an update through her Instagram post.

Shobhaa accidentally met Ranveer at a cafe in Alibaug, where the duo sat for a nice meal. Later, Shobhaa took to Instagram and shared a bunch of happy photos with the actor. In one photo, Ranveer is seen posing with Shobhaa and her friend, all three beaming with joy. In another picture, he is posing with a plate of french fries.

Sharing the pictures, Shobhaa wrote, “Unexpected encounter at our favourite cafe in Alibagh. Selfie King @ranveersingh enjoying much-needed ‘me time’ before he takes up daddy duties and starts his next film. Oh… the fries were mine.”

“But he said he is focusing on carbs himself. He needs to be 15kg heavier for his latest project. Charming, natural, and unfailingly polite as always. Glad to have him as a neighbour in Alibagh,” she added.

However, it is still unknown which project Shobhaa is talking about. Meanwhile, Ranveer was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, helmed by Karan Johar. Apart from Singh, the movie featured Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The movie revolves around the love tale of Ranveer and Alia, who both hail from different backgrounds and wish to get married. However, their families strictly oppose their relationship.

Coming to Ranveer’s work front, the actor is all set to feature in Singham Again, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. The movie is slated to release around Diwali this year. He also has the next instalment of Don in his kitty.
