Initial reports claimed that Raveena’s driver was involved in an accident, allegedly driving recklessly, which resulted in injuries to three people.

In a statement to ETimes, DCP Raj Tilak Roshan explained, “Raveena Tandon’s driver was reversing to park the car when the other party started shouting ‘gaadi chala rahe hai’ (they are running over us). Nothing happened; the car did not even brush against any of them. They started fighting, and Raveena came out and joined the altercation.”

He further added, “Both parties came to the police station, and we asked them to file individual complaints. However, both parties said they had no complaint to file. There was no head injury; if they had been run over, they would have lodged a complaint.”

Sources close to Raveena told the portal, “Raveena was alone with her children at home when the incident happened. She came out only to protect her driver, who was being manhandled by the other party. The other party started filming, and CCTV footage shows that the actress was trying to calm them down. Instead, they began abusing her and falsely claimed that she was drunk.”
